For a day out, the War Remnants Museum is 3.5 km away, and Crescent Lake in Phu My Hung, to the south, is 6.6 km. For shopping, An Dong Market is 500 m away and is the nearest of several markets within 800 m, so the everyday life of the quarter is on your doorstep. Phu My Hung is a planned residential area, so the south of the city feels quite different from the old streets of Cho Lon. Walking between the pagoda, the park and the markets is the easiest way to get to know the neighbourhood.
